Explore Kemenuh Butterfly Park in Gianyar, a peaceful nature attraction where visitors can see hundreds of tropical butterflies in a landscaped garden surrounded by Bali’s greenery. The park houses around 15 tropical butterfly species from across Indonesia, including rare and protected varieties. Visitors can observe butterflies at different stages of their metamorphosis, from eggs and larvae to pupae and adult butterflies.
The butterfly sanctuary also features various tropical insects and arachnids, creating an educational experience while offering plenty of opportunities for nature photography.
A dedicated pupae room allows visitors to see how butterfly cocoons are carefully protected until the adults emerge. Newly hatched butterflies are transferred into the garden where they can feed, fly, and continue their natural life cycle.
One of the highlights is the Atlas Moth, known for its large size and distinctive patterns. The conservation area supports butterfly breeding and helps protect tropical species in a controlled environment.
The park also offers preserved butterfly and insect displays in glass frames. Available specimens include:
